Based in Broadstairs a stones throw from the beach, The Counting House Bar is a unique bar experience like no other. Founded in 2019, this local independent business has something for everyone. The Counting House was originally built in 1892 by Cobbs Brewery as a Cobbs Bank before being sold to Lloyds Bank who ran it until its closure in 2017.

In 2018 a local couple took over the building with a clear vision of what they wanted the bar to be and to offer something a little different from the usual bar experience available, after an extensive period of refurbishment that ensured the amazing original features of this beautiful landmark building were kept and enhanced, The Counting House was born.
